HUMAN RESOURCES CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT SECTION (HRCD)

BACKGROUND OF HRCD
 
HRCD was initially known as the Training Unit under the Finance and Administration Division. Around mid 2006, it was given a Divisional status and termed the Training and Development Division before reorganization was undertaken and two Sections, namely, HRCP and HRCD were created to constitute the HRCP & D Division.
    
 2. CORE FUNCTIONS
 
  • Assessment of the Skills and Training needs of Internal Audit Staff of MDAs and MMDAs.
  • Preparation of  training Plans
  • Planning and Implementation training programmes for Internal Audit Staff of MDAs and MMDAs.
  • Development and updating Training Materials for training programmes.
  • Undertaking presentations during training sessions
  • Assistance to improve the efficiency and performance of Internal Audit staff of the MDAs and MMDAs through continues training and development programmes.
  • Evaluation of  training effectiveness / arranging evaluation of training effectiveness
  • Making follow-ups to trained Internal Audit staff
  • Compilation of  training reports
  • Co-ordination of training programmes of the Internal Audit Agency.
  • Maintenance of appropriate record on staff training and development.
  • Monitoring of Training needs of Internal Audit Units of MDAs and MMDAs.
