The Internal Audit Agency facilitated training for Heads and Assistant Heads of Internal Audit Units of the MMDAs in the Greater Accra Region on Audit Working Paper Management. The training was co-funded by the GIZ.
The training programme was opened by Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, the Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency on 20th June 2023. Also in attendance was Mr. Dauda Hambali, a GIZ representative.
The purpose of the training was to provide participants with the tools and competencies needed to ensure appropriate Audit Documentation in line with International Standards and requirements of the Internal Audit Regulations of Ghana 2011 (L.I. 1994). The training provided an opportunity for participants to share practical experiences and best practices with each other.
Participants were also engaged in the practical aspect of Audit Working Paper Management which included group discussions and group presentations.
The training program was held from 20th – 21st June 2023 at the premises of
Ibis Style Hotel in Accra.
