On behalf of the Director-General, Dr. E.O. Osae, Mr. Samuel Gyekye-Mensah on Thursday, 21st March, 2023 swore-in a member of the Audit Committee of the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources.
Mr. Bright Owusu-Kwarteng the Director for Finance on behalf of the Chief Director of the Ministry welcomed all to the programme. He commended the work of the Audit Committee and urged them on to continue with the good work.
Mr. Gyekye-Mensah swore-in the member and supervised the election of the Chairman for the Ministry’s Committee. He gave a short address on the functions of the Committee and the need to ensure control systems are in place and working efficiently.
The newly elected Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Wisdom K. Messan pledged his commitment to maintaining already set standards and ensure the effective discharge of their responsibility as Committee.
Mr. Messan requested the support of Management and encouraged them to make judicious use of resources. The Chairman also solicited the corporation of all members of the Committee.
Mr. Owusu-Kwarteng thanked all for coming and assured the support of the Ministry.
Members of the Audit Committee are Mr. Wisdom K. Messan (Chairman and ICAG Rep), Mr. Samuel Arnold-Armah (IAA Rep), Mr. Augustine Addo (ICAG Rep). Madam Alberta Claudia Annang is the Secretary to the Committee.
