The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Directorate of IAA facilitated a training programme for the Risk Management Committee (RMC) members of the Centre for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR) in ERM.
The purpose of the training was to provide members of the Centre’s Risk Management Committee with the requisite skills and competencies to enable them assist the Executive Director in discharging his responsibility for risk management as required by the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921). The training was also meant to support the Committee in ensuring that relevant policies, internal controls and procedures are in place to create an appropriate culture and system including processes for risk management planning, risk identification, analysis, monitoring and control in a consistent manner.
The four-day training programme took place from 21st-24th February 2023.
Mr. Senanu Mensah, a Deputy-Director and Mr. Quatada Nashiru Mohammed, a Senior Audit Manager of the Agency facilitated the training. They were supported by Mr. Prince Opoku-Agyemang.
