The Executive Director of the National Service Secretariat, Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi paid a courtesy call to the Director-General on Tuesday, 16th January, 2024.
During his visit, Hon. Osei Antwi Assibey engaged with the National Service Personnels (NSPs) of the Agency. He outlined his plans and the future direction of the Secretariat, specifically mentioning the intention to publish articles showcasing the experiences of various NSPs in Ghana. He urged all personnel to contribute by writing articles about their experiences for publication.
He explained that the initiative aimed at enhancing understanding across different posting locations, promoting coordination among NSPs, and sharing valuable information.
Additionally, he proposed that the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) consider incorporating a touristic week into their annual celebration. He stated that the touristic week would provide an opportunity for the Personnels to explore remote areas and gain insights into life in different parts of Ghana.
Before concluding his visit, Hon. Osei Antwi Assibey enquired about the experiences of the Personnels at the Agency. The NSPs then went ahead to share their insightful stories.
He concluded by encouraging them to make the most of their time in the organization, emphasizing the importance of learning and personal development for the future.
