Board Member – Mr. Fiifi Kwakye
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana).
He is also a member of the Ghana Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Advisors (GARIA) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana.
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Birmingham (UK) and a first degree in Business Administration (Accounting major) from the Business School of the University of Ghana.
He has over 30 years of experience in Taxation, accounting, auditing, banking and asset management in both the public and private sector.
He has attended various International programmes in specialized courses in Harvard Business School, Colombia and Cornell Universities in the USA and other local programmes.
Fiifi’s career started with the Internal Revenue Service (Now Ghana Revenue Authority) in 1987 for nine years as a tax auditor and subsequently seconded to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for a four-year period on an Economic Management support Project as a project accountant funded by the World Bank, DFID and Government of Ghana.
He played a pioneering role in the startup of First Atlantic Merchant Bank in 1995 and worked for seventeen years in various capacities in the Bank and held the position of an Executive Director for eight years.
He currently serves as a partner of afirm of Chartered Accountants.
