Senanu K. Mensah is the Acting Director at the Internal Audit Agency, responsible for Technical, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation(TRME). He is a Chartered Accountant and a Risk Management Expert (ISO 31000 2018) with several years of experience in Internal Auditing, Financial Audit, Financial Management, Forensic Audit and Internal Control Review (COSO Framework).

He has worked with the Internal Audit Agency for more than ten (10) years in various capacities including the Head of Ministries, Department & Agencies, Head of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, He has also worked as the Head of the Enterprise Risk Management Directorate.

He is a researcher and Consultant in Enterprise Risk Management (ISO 31000 2018) and COSO Integrated Internal Control Framework. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (ISACA) and holds an advanced diploma in Logistics and Transport from the Chartered Institute of Transport & Logistics (CILT-UK).

He serves on several Audit Committees including Ghana Tourism Authority (Chairman), Forestry Commission (Member) and is the immediate past Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Cocoa Processing Company Limited and the Ministry of Defense. He served as the Financial Systems Manager of the Volta Lake Transport Company Limited having worked as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young Ghana (EY).
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG) and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
