Mr. William Offei-Mensah is the Deputy Director-General (TFO) at the Internal Audit Agency. He is a Ghanaian born on 2nd December in Accra. He holds a Master of Commerce (MCom) in Applied Accounting and a MA in Economic Policy Management (EPM) from the University of Ghana, and a BA in Economics and Law from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST).

Mr. Offei-Mensah is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), a member of the American Academy of Financial Management and the Association of Chartered Certified Economists (ACE).

He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIAG) and the Ghana Institute of Management. Mr. William Offei-Mensah has over 30 years of work experience in public sector auditing. He was a former lecturer of the Methodist University College, a former Head of Internal Audit, Ghana Trade Fair Company Limited, a former Deputy Director and Head of Internal Audit Unit of the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

He was also a former Principal Operations officer at the Public Procurement Authority, a former Accountant at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission and the Controller and
Accountant General’s Department (CAGD).He is a Christian and is married with four (4) children.
