Mrs. Marian Deladem Ofosu-Dankyi is the Director of Human Resources and Administration at the Internal Audit Agency. Marian has about 21 years of work experience, in Human Resources Management, Client Relations, Organisational Development and Consulting. Before she joined the Internal Audit Agency, Marian worked with Pectra Consulting where she was the Lead Consultant for Human Resources and Organisational Development. Marian has also worked in HR Generalist roles at the Senior Management level, as Talent Manager for Affinity Finance Africa; Head of Human and Corporate Resources of Metropolitan Ghana Group (made up of Metropolitan Life Insurance, Metropolitan Health Insurance and Metropolitan Pensions Trust), HR Consultant for Dominion University College; AVP: HRM for Phyto-Riker (GIHOC) Pharmaceuticals Limited and Human Resource Manager at the Ghana Health Service. Marian also worked with Barclays Bank Ghana Limited (now ABSA), as Customer Advisor.
At Phyto-Riker, Marian trained to become a Certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor with TuV India and was instrumental in the ISO 9000 certification of the pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Marian set-up the HR function of Dominion University, ensuring that policy frameworks and people requirements were met for the take-off of the Department.
At the Metropolitan Group, Marian was a member of a five-member committee that rolled out cultural transformation in Metropolitan-Momentum’s Africa Segment, which comprised financial services businesses in seven Sub-Saharan African countries.
Marian graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with a BSc. in Administration (HRM Option) and MPhil in Human Resources Management in the years 2000 and 2007, respectively. She has attended many seminars and conferences, both locally and internationally.
She is a Certified Human Resources Management Practitioner with the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana.
