The Internal Audit Agency on 5th September, 2022 held its 3rd Quarter virtual meeting with Chairpersons of Audit Committees chaired by the Director-General. Key issues discussed were:
- Status of the ongoing Electronic Salary Payment Voucher (ESPV)
- Feedback on the 2022 Annual Internal Audit Conference
- Publication of Defaulters’ List
- 2nd Quarter 2022 Internal Audit Report
- 2021 Audit Committee Report
On the ESPV, participants were briefed on the objectives, approach, status and reports so far received, findings and effects of payroll, challenges and proposed solutions. Participants were urged to offer officers who visit their institutions the utmost support to help in the reduction of payroll inconsistencies.
Management presented a communique on the outcome of the 2022 Annual Internal Audit Conference and key issues that came up.
Questions and feedback were taken from participants. One Hundred and Thirty-Eight (138) persons participated in the meeting.
