On 9th June, 2025, the Acting Deputy Director-General responsible for Finance, Administration and Support Services (FASS), Mr. Bismark Aborbi-Ayitey honored an invitation to a meeting of Heads of Key Accountability Institutions (KAIs) at the Parliament House. The Internal Audit Agency was among eleven (11) key accountability institutions that were invited. Present at the engagement was the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Alban Bagbin.
The meeting was convened to deliberate on the institutionalization of a National Integrity Award Scheme, a key recommendation of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP 1) for legislation to curb corruption in the country. The meeting also discussed the validation of a work plan on possible activities for execution in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that KAI signed to fight corruption.
