In his opening remarks, the Acting Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Mr. Edmond Kombat, stated that the Audit Committee has been established to reinforce corporate governance within TOR. He acknowledged the significant challenges the Refinery has been facing and emphasized that, as part of President Mahama’s broader agenda to reset the country, both the Board and Management are committed to supporting the Audit Committee in fulfilling its mandate.
