As part of its continuous efforts to build capacity in line with its mandate, the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) on 13th October 2025 commenced the second phase of its onsite support training on Risk-Based Internal Auditing (RBIA) for selected Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs), Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) within the Greater Accra Region.
The training aims to equip Internal Audit staff with the necessary skills and competencies to perform risk-based internal audit services effectively, covering both the financial and operational activities of their respective institutions. This onsite RBIA training forms part of the Agency’s broader capacity-building initiative and is scheduled to run throughout the week.
The exercise underscores the Agency’s unwavering commitment to strengthening internal audit practices and promoting excellence across all Covered Entities.
