On 11th March 2026, the Director for Compliance at the Ministry of Finance paid a courtesy call on the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) to discuss the implementation of the Commitment Control Compliance (CCC) guidelines. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between the two institutions in promoting sound financial management practices.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged insights on the status of CCC implementation, shared challenges, and explored strategies to improve compliance across government agencies. The discussion highlighted the critical role of commitment control in ensuring that expenditures are properly authorized, tracked, and reconciled against approved budgets before obligations are incurred.
The courtesy call further reaffirmed the commitment of both the Ministry of Finance and IAA to uphold transparency, accountability, and efficiency in public financial management. Such engagements are crucial in fostering strong inter-agency relationships and reinforcing the culture of good governance within the public sector.
