The Specialized Training Unit of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) conducted a training program on report writing for staff of the Internal Audit Unit of the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS). The training was aimed at improving the report writing skills of participants and enhance the quality of Internal Audit reports produced by the institution.
The training program took place on 18th April, 2023 and was facilitated by Samuel Gyekye-Mensah and Christian Barimah Adinkrah.
The training program covered the following:
- Purpose/ Aims of Internal Audit Reports
- Types of Internal Audit Reports
- Recipients of Audit Reports
- Structure of Internal Audit Reports
- Content of Internal Audit Reports
- Communication of Internal Audit Reports
- General Guidance in writing Audit Reports
The training program included practical exercises and case studies to allow participants apply the concepts and techniques taught in the sessions. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences and challenges in report writing, and the trainers provided feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills.
