On 16th July, 2025, a meeting was held in the office of the Director-General, attended by Management of the Agency and executives of the Internal Auditors’ Association of Ghana (IAAG) for Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
Mr. Umar Jawula, President of the Association, expressed his gratitude to the Director-General for the continuous support extended to them. He formally invited the Ag. Director-General to the Association’s upcoming Annual Conference and solicited the Agency’s support for the event.
The Ag. Director-General, in his response, discussed several key initiatives. These included the distribution of the Risk-Based Internal Auditing (RBIA) Manual, the integration of Internal Auditors onto the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), the roll out of the CAAT Manual, and the review of the Performance Audit Manual. He also emphasized the significance of the Commitment Control Compliance (CCC) report in empowering Internal Auditors.
Concluding his remarks, the Ag. Director-General announced the Agency’s Annual Conference and requested the Association’s support and advocacy.
