The Ag. Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), Mr. Thomas Thompson-Aryee, swore in members of the Audit Committee of the Ghana Digital Centres Limited (GDCL) on 27th November, 2025.
Chairing the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dzifa Gunu, noted that the swearing-in reaffirmed GDCL’s commitment to accountability and transparency. He stressed that the move was a deliberate effort to strengthen good governance. Describing corruption as a disease for which transparency is essential to the cure, Mr. Gunu assured the gathering of Management’s willingness to work closely with the Audit Committee to enhance the institution’s operational resilience.
In his address, the Ag. Director-General of the IAA highlighted the Audit Committee as a critical governance structure with statutory responsibilities, including reviewing internal and external audit reports. He also pointed to amendments to the PPA Act and encouraged members to acquaint themselves with these reforms to support their work.
