Staff of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) joined personnel from other agencies under the Ministry of Finance to take part in the National General Clean-Up Exercise at Alajo on Friday, 10th July 2026. The initiative formed part of Government’s efforts to restore environmental sanitation following recent floods and promote a cleaner, healthier and safer environment.
Dressed in branded IAA T-shirts and other work-appropriate attire, staff actively engaged in the clean-up activities by sweeping and clearing waste from designated areas, contributing to improved sanitation within the community. Their participation reflected the Agency’s commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at promoting public health and environmental sanitation.
The exercise was undertaken in line with a Presidential directive declaring Friday, 10 July and Saturday, 11 July 2026 as National General Cleaning Days, requiring the Ministry of Finance and its agencies to participate in clean-up activities across designated areas.
