The Deputy Director-General in charge of Finance, Administration and Support Services (FASS) of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), Mr. Bismark Aborbi-Ayitey, on 1st October 2026 inaugurated the Audit Committee of Wesley College of Education in the Ashanti Region to strengthen financial oversight at the institution.
In a separate ceremony held on the same day, Mr. Aborbi-Ayitey inaugurated the Audit Committee of Agogo Presbyterian Women’s College of Education, also in the Ashanti Region.
The two committees are expected to work collaboratively with their respective managements to support effective internal controls and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations, in line with the requirements of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
