The Audit Committee of the C.K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences (CKT-UTAS) was virtually inaugurated on 24th September, 2025, by Mr. T.A. Thompson-Aryee, Ag. Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA).
Prof. Albert Luguterah, Vice-chancellor of the University, in his opening remarks, mentioned that the inauguration of the Audit Committee marks a pivotal journey towards the attainment of good governance. He continued that the fortification of the pillars of governance will strengthen the institution’s integrity. He urged members of the Committee to ensure their work is impartial and thorough-looking. The Vice-chancellor concluded that the Committee should endeavour to be shielded from compromise and strengthened by conviction.
The Ag. Director-General implored the Committee to adhere to its statutory obligations. He mentioned reforms such as the introduction of the Commitment Compliance Checklist and Commitment Authorization. Mr. Stephen Badu is the Chairperson of the Committee.
