The Acting Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency, Mr. Thomas A. Thompson-Aryee, on 16th January 2026, inaugurated the Audit Committee of Graphic Communications Group Ltd. The ceremony was attended by the Managing Director and Directors of the various units.      Â
Addressing the gathering, the Managing Director, Mr. Ato Afful, highlighted the work of the Group and the significant transition it has undergone. He emphasized the importance of good governance and noted the marked improvements expected from the Group’s partnership with the Audit Committee. He, however, acknowledged existing compliance challenges arising from the financial constraints facing the institution.
Delivering his speech, Mr. Thompson-Aryee highlighted key public sector reforms, including the introduction of the Commitment Authorization process and the accompanying requirement for Internal Auditors of public institutions to submit quarterly Commitment Control Checklist Review Reports.
