The Annual Internal Audit Conference is a flagship programme of the Internal Audit Agency. This year’s Conference with the theme “Injecting Fiscal Discipline in the Resource Mobilization and Utilization for Sustainable Development: The Role of Internal Auditors” will be held at the Auditorium of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
The 3-day Conference scheduled for the 16th – 18th August will be graced by the presence of Ministers, Development Partners, Heads of institutions, Stakeholders and Internal Auditors from across the sixteen (16) regions of the country. Fifteen seasoned professionals have been invited to make presentations and discussions on enlightening topics such as;
- “Optimizing State Revenue Through Digitalization for National Development; the Role of Stakeholders”.
- Mainstreaming Enterprise Risk Management Systems of Ghana (ERM) in the public sector – The Role of Stakeholders”
- Repositioning and Restructuring Public Sector Internal Audit for Accelerated Socio-economic Development in Ghana”
- “Cracking the whip and Enforcement Mechanisms to Protect the Public Purse – The Role of Stakeholders”
- “Delays in Projects Completion, Abandoned Projects and non-use of Completed Projects as an audit infraction” Matters Arising.
